The company started from the faith of four young women who could not find organic yet nice and trendy products for their skin care. “We wanted to design a product which is great both in function and form. Logical and perfect in every detail. Beautiful, green and alive. Like the flower that has inspired our brand.” MÁDARA was created in 2005. It is now a leader in eco cosmetics in Latvia and is marketed in 24 countries worldwide. MÁDARA offers a complete range of face, body, eye, lip and hair care products made with active ingredients from herbs and flowers harvested in the Baltic region. Northern summers in the Baltic region are short and harsh and therefore plants are forced to concentrate all of their strength in the short blossoming period. It is during then that the blossoms and herbs are harvested, when they are especially rich with active substances. The extracts are then used in the production of MADARA products, hence making them powerful and effective. MÁDARA is an entirely natural and organic range of cosmetics that is certified according to the international ECOCERT standard. Its ingredients include biologically certified blossoms and herbal extracts from the Baltic region, as well as other natural substances. |
